Founder of the Supernatural Festival (Srdjan Stankovic has an Economics degree from the Richmond College in London, a Master of International Marketing from Sidney and a Master from Applied Ecology in Belgrade. He spent 7 years in the largest beer company in the world Inbev, where he worked as a Sponsorship & events manager. That’s where he began his career in event management, with projects such as Becksperience and Jelen pivo Live. After a career in large companies, Srđan founded the Supernatural movement, an organization that aims at raising the awareness of citizens on the topics related to environmental protection. That is how the Supernatural festival, the most ecological event in the country, was created. Nowadays, Supernatural is an organization that addresses environmental and social entrepreneurship and has extensive experience in cooperation with the business sector).

Margarita was born in Athens and was brought up in Oxford shire, England where her father was a
post graduate student for his PHD in medicine. Once back to Greece she attended bilingual
schools.

She graduated Pierce College in Athens, and at the Chicago City Colleges in Europe she took
courses in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, and Social Sciences. At the ICS she
studied tourism. She has also taken various courses in journalism.
For the last 20 years she has been working for tourism magazines as a journalist. In 2002 she was
promoted to be the editor in chief for “Tourism market” (Touristiki Agora), position she holds to
today, and in 2003 she was promoted to be the project director for MEETINGREECE, an annual
conference guide presenting the infrastructure in Greece for conferences in the country, mainland
and islands.

In 2011 she was the press officer for the Greek Chef Association.

In 2012 she became Tourism Communications Manager and the Editorial Consultant on tourism
for the MONEMVASIA MUNICIPALITY.

In 2013 she was the PR, Events, and Hosted Buyers Manager for a New Exhibition the 100% Hotel
Show, whih took place in Athens 8-10/2/2014.

In 2014 she was the project manager for a publication poduced by the Hotel Unions of Crete for
the visitors of Crete.

In 2014 she was the PR, Events, and Hosted Buyers Manager for the 2nd edition of the 100% Hotel
Show, whih took place in Athens 7-9/2/2015.

In 2015 she collaborated with the Greek Tourism Expo show as the coordinator for an international
Hosted Buyers Group for the show.

Margarita lives mainly in Athens and is very active in promoting the Greek conference tourism
product. Attends all major exhibitions in Europe and coordinates Greek and International Hosted
buyer groups for IMEX in Frankfurt, EIBTM in Barcelona, Ace of Mice in Instanbul and Greek
Tourism Expo in Greece.

In 2012 she was awarded by IMIC for being so active in promoting Greece and the Greek tourism
product.She attends many conferences and seminars in Greece and abroad concerning tourism,
environment and other issues.

She speaks well Greek and English and fair Italian. She believes tourism is an interesting activity
for all countries and that Greece has unique opportunities to develop well this sector. Tourism is
extremely important as a sector not only for the Greek economy but internationally. Tourism
creates job opportunities, attracts investments, upgrades the standards of life of the local people,
brings people and cultures together, educates and fights poverty where ever is developed
successfully. Tourism is also an antiwar business. Even more, tourism distributes wealth earned to
all participants in a more fair way. Tourism also enforces protection for the environment and the
culture of every place.

A destination marketing professional with two decades of experience in business events and leisure tourism, Mady worked for more than 12 years with the British Tourist Authority (now VisitBritain) in management positions in London, Madrid, Lisbon and Berlin. Other career highlights include 5 years as Head of the London Convention Bureau (now London & Partners) and a stint as Chief Executive of the British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in Lisbon. Mady currently lectures at SKEMA Business School, the largest of France’s Grandes Ecoles in terms of student numbers, where she is Course Director for the Master of Science programme in Strategic Event and Tourism Management and International Hospitality Management. SKEMA Business School has campuses in France (Nice, Paris, Lille), China (near Shanghai), Morocco (Casablanca) and in the USA (Raleigh, North Carolina). Mady’s speaking and consultancy engagements on tourism and event management have taken her all around Europe, Dubai , Tajikistan and the USA. She is a trainer for Destination Sales Training in Europe and the Middle East on behalf of Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) and an MPI (Meeting Professionals International) accredited trainer. Mady speaks 6 languages fluently (English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and her native Luxembourgish). She holds a Diploma of Marketing by the Chartered Institute of Marketing and an Open University MBA. Mady is a former Chair of the British Association of Conference Destinations (2002-2003), and a member of MPI, DMAI, SITE (Society of Incentive & Travel Executives) and IFITT (International Federation for IT and Travel and Tourism).

Rob Davidson’s main areas of expertise are conferences and business travel, and over the last fifteen years he has written widely on these themes. In addition to writing books, he regularly writes articles for the professional business travel and tourism press, including Conference News.

He is regularly invited to speak at international conferences on themes linked to business tourism. Since 2002, Rob has been employed on a consultancy basis as Industry Analyst by Reed Travel Exhibitions, for whom he carries out ongoing research. At IBTM World in Barcelona each year, he launches his annual report, Trends Watch, on trends in the meetings and business travel industry worldwide.

For the past 5 years, he has been included in Conference & Incentive Travel magazine’s ‘Power 50’ – the 50 most influential people in the UK conference industry.
